Dr. Amit Batra is an integrative primary care physician with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering whole-person care across large health systems, employer-based clinics and nationwide virtual platforms. He specializes in evidence-based medicine using lifestyle, integrative and preventive approaches to help patients optimize vitality, resilience and long-term health.

Education

Dr. Batra earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he also completed a Faculty Development Fellowship. He later completed advanced training in Integrative Medicine as an Associate Fellow of the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

Professional experience

Most recently, Dr. Batra served as a virtual care physician at Crossover Health, where he helped design and operationalize a national virtual primary care platform serving major corporate partners including Meta, Amazon, Fidelity and Pepsi.

Previously, he was Medical Director of the Facebook Health Center, where he helped grow and lead a large, integrated care team. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade as a primary care physician at Kaiser Permanente, building a practice centered on prevention, chronic disease management and personalized lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Batra is licensed in 42 states and Washington, D.C.
