She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, and completed a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism through a joint program at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center.
